Whether it’s synthetics such as polyester or nylon fibers, or natural materials like cotton and flax straw, the patent pending thermal bonding technique that Midwest Padding employs can produce a quality pad for acoustical, insulating or comfort-making products.
Thermal bonding is an essential part of our manufacturing process. This allows us to achieve a more uniform bond and actually enhances all the fibers’ natural resiliency. Cushion fibers are bonded at discrete points rather than other traditional methods, creating a superior blend of performance with premium features.
We can create pads as thin as 1/16th of an inch up to 3 1/2 inches thick, and in a variety of densities. We can add fire retardants to the manufacturing process, and laminate a backing to the pad if desired. Let our research and development department create a product to fit your need.
