Installation

1. Always read the flooring manufacturers recommendations and instructions before installing the underlayment.
2. Before rolling out the underlayment, be sure to sweep, vacuum, and remove all debris on the substructure.
3. Fill in any significant holes, gaps or breaks that may exist on the substructure.
4. Roll out the Underlayment over the substructure surface. Always install the underlayment with the 6 mil film barrier down.
5. To connect the rolls together using the Self Sealing tape, simply join the extended film lip to the other end of the next roll by peeling off the liner of the adhesive tape and adhering it to the extended film lip.
6. Always be sure to connect the rolls together evenly so that the foam is not overlapping each other and there are no wide gaps between the foam.
